Lenovo to Support Avaya's Softphone on ThinkPad Notebooks

Lenovo and Avaya announced an alliance to collaborate on IP and unified communications solutions. The joint solution will enable Lenovo's integrated fingerprint reader and Password Manager technologies to, for the first time, support Avaya's IP Softphone solution to boost user authentication with a swipe of a finger. The combination aims to help prevent unauthorized calls from the PC, and prevent unauthorized access to the user's contact list and call history. http://www.avaya.com
