Japanese MSO Deploys ARRIS Cadant CMTS

KATCH Networks, a cable operator located in Aichi Prefecture Japan, has chosen the ARRIS C4 CMTS to implement the KDDI Cable Plus Primary VoIP service. KDDI is one of Japan's largest telecom providers and subscribing cable service providers such as KATCH Networks use their network to provide primary line VoIP telephony service over HFC. Financial terms were not disclosed.
