NTT DoCoMo Acquires Stake in Nippon Television Network

NTT DoCoMo acquired a 3% stake in Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV). The companies have been collaborating on new services converging mobile communications and broadcasting. "One-segment" terrestrial digital broadcasting was launched in April 2006 and the companies note growing sales of compatible handsets.
