Belkin Releases Cable-Free USB Hub based on UWB

Belkin introduced a Cable-Free USB Hub that does not require a cable to connect to the computer. The hub used Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology with the Wisair chipset. Data transfers at up to 480 Mbps are possible for USB 2.0 devices at a range of up to 30 meters.
