Tut's Video Headend Converts MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 AVC

Tut Systems' Astria content processor (CP) video headend solution can now be leveraged to convert MPEG-2 stored on-demand content to the latest MPEG-4 AVC compression. For service providers deploying services based on the bandwidth efficient MPEG-4 AVC compression technologies, a bridge is needed to convert content to the new compression standard. Cavalier Telephone is using the Tut solution for this purpose.
