Sony's mylo Gets One Year Free T-Mobile Wi-Fi Service

Purchasers of Sony's new mylo personal communicator devices will be offered up to twelve months of complimentary T-Mobile HotSpot service in the US, under a deal announced by the companies. Starting in mid-November 2006, mylo communication devices will get online access for no charge at more than 7,000 T-Mobile HotSpot locations in the United States.







Sony's pocket-sized device works in any open 802.11b wireless network to provide instant messaging, VoIP calling, email, web browsing and media playback. The communicator comes with Skype, Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger software.
