Equinix Announces Deal with Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Equinix, which operates network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, announced a joint service agreement with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Equinix will offer direct fiber connectivity between Equinix's Chicago Internet Business Exchange (IBX) center and the CME. The service is available immediately to customers of the Equinix Financial eXchange service in the Chicago IBX and CME customers.
