TELUS Awards 3-year, $150 million Broadband Contract to Nokia

TELUS has awarded Nokia a three-year, $150 million contract to provide integration and installation services for its IP broadband access network in Canada. The agreement covers integration, installation and deployment services.



The announcement follows the November 2005 agreement that TELUS would use Nokia broadband infrastructure equipment, including the Nokia D500 IP DSLAM equipped with ADSL2+ technology.



TELUS has announced plans to invest $600 million in broadband network infrastructure . to pave the way for exciting emerging IP applications including high definition TELUS TV. http://www.nokia.com
