Sky, which serves 8.1 million households in the UK and Ireland with satellite TV, will supply free NETGEAR wireless routers to all subscribers to its new broadband Internet access service.
Sky Broadband offers a 2 Mbps download speed with no monthly subscription (free for Sky TV customers). Sky Broadband also offers a choice of other service tiers with download speeds of up to 16 Mbps (GBP 16 per month for Sky TV customers). Monthly download usage ranges from 2GB to unlimited.
