Broadcom Ships over One Million Draft-802.11n Chipsets in 4 Months

Broadcom has shipped over one million of its Intensi-fi family of draft-802.11n chipsets in less than four months.

Broadcom Intensi-fi technology complies with the current IEEE 802.11n draft specification and is available in a variety of draft-802.11n routers, including those from Linksys, NETGEAR and Buffalo. The company said its Intensi-fi solutions are also interoperable with draft-802.11n technology from other chipmakers. Broadcom also cited gains with notebook manufacturers.
