Telefónica Selects Ericsson's DWDM

Telefónica de España has selected Ericsson as supplier for its metro DWDM optical network. The new network will allow Telefónica to meet the increasing traffic demand generated by the consumer's response to its broadband services offering.



Ericsson said the contract highlights the benefits of its recent Marconi acquisition.
