ARRIS Lands Two-Year E-MTA Supply Deal with Comcast

Comcast signed a purchase agreement for a minimum of 1.2 million ARRIS Touchstone(R) Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adapters (E-MTAs) over the next two years. An E-MTA is the combination modem and phone adapter. The contract covers the ARRIS Touchstone Telephone Modem TM402 and the next-generation Touchstone Telephony Modem TM502 product line. ARRIS will equip the Comcast E-MTAs with battery back-up for service reliability in case of a power failure in the home.
