Sierra Wireless Debuts EV-DO Rev A Cards

Sierra Wireless introduced its AirCard 595 wireless wide area network card and the MC5725 PCI Express Mini Card embedded module designed to take advantage of the increased speed and functionality offered by EV-DO Revision A networks.



EV-DO Revision A is an upgrade to current EV-DO networks that supports faster data rates and increased system capacity, offering peak data rates of 3.1 Mbps on the downlink and up to 1.8 Mbps on the uplink.
