Novera Optics, a start-up based in Santa Clara and Daejeon, South Korea, raised $7.4 million in new funding for its fiber optic access solutions for global markets. Last year Novera Optics delivered more than 50,000 lines of its new wavelength division multiplexed (WMD) transport technologies to Korea Telecom. Novera Optics' devices will be used in high volume FTTH and fiber-to-the-curb (FTTC) applications.
Enterprise Partners led the funding round. Additional investors include Redpoint Ventures, Octane Capital Management, KTB Ventures, Meritech Capital Partners, and Saints Ventures.
