India's MTNL Selects Optibase for IPTV Headend

India's state-owned major telecom, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. (MTNL), will deploy Optibase's IPTV MGW 5100 platforms for its digital head-end for delivery of Triple Play services in the Delhi and Mumbai areas. MTNL is deploying these services targeted at their 3.9 million subscribers along with Time Broadband Services Limited as their video tier partner. Financial terms were not disclosed.
