GUBA Offers Usenet-to-iPod Video Download Service

GUBA began offering its subscribers the capability to watch videos from Usenet, automatically transcode those videos directly into the correct iPod video format and to seamlessly download them into itunes) to sync with the iPod. The company said there are at least 25,000 Usenet video files available for download. GUBA said it is a copyright-friendly service, and will not index feature films or MP3s.


Usenet is the global electronic bulletin board that predates the World Wide Web.
