Greenfield Names Cisco Exec as CEO

Greenfield Networks, a start-up offering merchant Ethernet switching silicon solutions, named Bill Rossi as its President and CEO. Rossi previously served as vice president and general manager of the Wireless Networking Business Unit at Cisco Systems. Rossi joined Cisco as part of the Grand Junction Networks acquisition in 1995. He also led marketing for Cisco's Desktop Switching Business Unit.
