Virtela Provides VPN for National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Virtela is providing a managed VPN services to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to speed communications between its employees and law-enforcement agencies nationwide. NCMEC is using Virtela's network-based SSL VPN and broadband VPN solution to connect approximately 250 employees across six branch offices and enable thousands of federal and local law enforcement around the world to quickly and easily access NCMEC's national clearinghouse of child information anywhere, anytime via a standard web browser.

Virtela's SSL VPN solution is replacing a self-managed IPsec VPN client environment at NCMEC that became increasingly difficult to deploy and manage as their global reach expanded.
