Sprint to Acquire US Unwired

Sprint agreed to acquire US Unwired for approximately $1.3 billion. Under the deal, more than 500,000 PCS wireless users will become direct subscribers of Sprint. The deal also ends litigation by US Unwired to block the proposed Sprint/Nextel merger. http://www.sprint.com
