Bert Whyte Steps Down as CEO of net.com

Network Equipment Technologies announced the resignation of its CEO, Hubert "Bert" Whyte, who has served in the role for the past six years.


C. Nicholas Keating, Jr. has been appointed CEO on an interim basis, until the company's Board of Directors completes its search for a new Chief Executive. Keating has been a director of Network Equipment Technologies since 2001. He was a vice president and corporate officer of the company from 1987 to 1993, and has served as a corporate director and CEO at a number of other technology companies.
