Linksys Offers Gig Switches with Remote Monitoring and Fiber Expansion

Linksys announced two new switches for small businesses -- a 16-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Switch and a 24-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Switch, featuring WebView remote monitoring and fiber expansion. WebView lets administrators control their network remotely through a web browser for configuration and monitoring traffic; while fiber expansion options through the two Mini GBIC ports allow administrators to add mini GBIC SFP Transceivers for longer range, high throughput connections to the main network. Estimated street price is $479.99 and $599.99 respectively.
