eircom teams with Cisco and NetCentrex for VoIP

eircom has chosen Cisco Systems and NetCentrex to deploy voice services in Ireland. The contracts were valued at EUR 10 million over a three-year period. Cisco will supply equipment to integrated voice calls into the existing PSTN, leveraging eircom's MPLS network. NetCentrex will supply the applications software and hardware, which together will provide the core intelligence for eircom's VoIP Platform.
