United Telephone Deploys IP Triple-Play with GPON

United Telephone Company of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, has selected Optical Solutions FiberPath gigabit Ethernet PON for a triple play deployment. United is an independent telco with 16,000 access lines. The carrier will deploy FiberPath in four new subdivisions, passing more than two thousand homes. The service line-up includes IPTV, data speeds up to 50 Mbps, and multiple voice lines.
