ICG to Sell SS7 Network to TNS

ICG Communications will sell its Signaling System 7 (SS7) network to Transaction Network Services for an undisclosed sum. ICG's SS7 network encompasses 18 metropolitan markets. Included in the sale are eight Signal Transfer Points (STPs) that assist in call setup, call alerting, and call addressing via a stand-alone signaling network.
