TI Introduces Voice over Cable Architecture

Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) introduced its next-generation architecture for Voice over Cable (VoCable) products. The single chip Puma IV architecture, which meets the current and anticipated PacketCable specifications, integrates a high performance applications processor and a closely coupled DSP co-processor for voice applications.
