SpectraLink Supplies Wi-Fi Telephones to Marriott Hotel

SpectraLink has supplied 50 of its NetLink i640 Wireless Telephones to a new seven-floor Marriott hotel for use by employees. The wireless handsets utilize Cisco Aironet wireless LAN access points allowing seamless mobile communications over a converged wireless network. The NetLink i640 Wireless Telephones, which integrate with the hotel's Nortel Meridian 1 PBX, also feature push-to-talk capabilities for instant group calling, eliminating the need to deploy walkie-talkies in the facility.
