FCC Votes to Approve Cingular/AT&T Wireless Merger

The FCC voted to approve the proposed merger of Cingular Wireless subject to several conditions, including business unit divestitures in 16 markets, limits on Cingular's acquisition of spectrum in an upcoming auction, and additional spectrum divestitures.
