Battery Ventures, a leading venture capital firm investing in information technology companies, closed its seventh fund with $450 million of committed capital. The fund will be invested over a period of approximately three years and is expected to contain a portfolio of 35 to 40 investments ranging in size from $5 million to $25 million each.
