EarthLink Increases Use of Level 3 Colocation Space

EarthLink has purchased additional colocation services from Level 3 Communications. The new agreement significantly expands the amount of colocation space that EarthLink occupies in multiple Level 3 facilities throughout the U.S. EarthLink, which has more than five million subscribers, purchased approximately 2,400 square feet of (3)Center Colocation space, where EarthLink will install its own servers and other network equipment. In addition to colocation services, Level 3 supplies EarthLink with managed modem, private line, wavelength and high-speed Internet access services.
