Lucent Technologies a series of contracts totaling several million dollars with Latin American service providers:
- Ecuador's Andinatel will deploy Lucent's AnyPath Messaging System, part of Lucent's Accelerate VoIP Solutions, across 600,000 mailboxes to offer enhanced messaging services, including unified communications, speech services and multimedia messaging.
- Honduras' Hondutel selected Lucent's software and services to expand its wireline network and make telephone service more widely available throughout the country.
- Puerto Rico's MoviStar selected Lucent to provide operations and maintenance support for its CDMA wireless network.
