UTStarcom Announces Stock Repurchase Program

UTStarcom announced a stock repurchase program pursuant to which up to 5,000,000 shares of its outstanding common stock may be repurchased over a period of six months. In addition, as also approved by the board of directors, the company repurchased an additional 1,623,000 shares in a privately negotiated transaction with an institution. http://www.utstar.com
