Siemens Selects Ikanos VDSL-DMT Chipset

Siemens has selected Ikanos Communications' SmartLeap family of VDSL Discrete-Multi-Tone (VDSL-DMT) chipsets to build a high-density line card for the Siemens SURPASS hiX DSLAM. Ikanos' chipset supports symmetric and asymmetric applications for ATM and Ethernet. It also complies with multiple international VDSL-DMT standards for Europe, Asia, and North America. http://www.siemens.com
