Nortel Networks Unveils Compact Metro Cell Base Transceiver Station

Nortel Networks unveiled its latest CDMA Base Transceiver Station (BTS) capable of supporting CDMAOne, CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO in the same shelf. The design provides the ability to grow from one to nine carriers in the same footprint. It also provides wireless operators with the option to stack BTSs as they grow, allowing for deployment in a variety of configurations. http://www.nortelnetworks.com
