Roku Debuts HDTV Digital Media Player

Roku, a start-up based in Palo Alto, California introduced its high-definition digital media player designed for integrating an HDTV monitor into a home entertainment network. The Ethernet connected appliance enables the HDTV display of photos, art, and other dynamic content from the PC. It also works with standard TVs. The unit has a list price of $499.
