Convergys Announces Contract Extension with DIRECTV

Convergys Corp. was awarded a three-year contract extension to provide customer service to DIRECTV's more than 11.5 million customers. Convergys has been the major provider of customer management services to DIRECTV since it launched its service in June 1994. Convergys has more than 4,500 employees working on the DIRECTV account. Financial terms were not disclosed.
