The Vivato 2.4 GHz Indoor Wi-Fi Switch successfully completed trials at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), one of the five largest convention centers in the US with 1.4 million square feet of exhibit space. The trial determined that just two Vivato switches, mounted on opposite ends of the largest hall, would cover the 14-acre indoor space, while it would take about 10-14 conventional wireless access points, plus cables and switches to cover the same area. The Vivato Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz Indoor Switch combines phased array antennas and radio frequency technology in a flat panel that also includes built-in management, security and deployment tools. Vivato's Wi-Fi Switch System is being evaluated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, which operates the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park, for expanding its wireless networks.
