Conexant Focuses on "Driving the Digital Home"

Following last week's spin-off of Mindspeed Technologies into a separate company, the ongoing Conexant Systems company adopted the slogan "Driving the Digital Home" as its corporate positioning statement. The company will focus on silicon solutions for client-side connections, especially set-top boxes, residential gateways, PCs and game consoles using broadband connections. Conexant Systems now has 1,400 employees and remains headquartered in Newport Beach, California.
