Alcatel will supply its 7300 Advanced Services Access Manager (ASAM) DSL platform to BellSouth to enable the remaining central offices in Georgia with DSL. Financial terms were not disclosed. BellSouth credited a favorable business environment established by the State of Georgia for its decision to deploy broadband capabilities to those central offices where it is not currently available..
