Avaya Reaches Tentative Agreement with its Unions

Avaya reached a tentative national agreement with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) on a three-year contract. This is the first contract Avaya has negotiated with its unions, which represent about 6,300 employees, since it became a fully independent company in October 2000. The contract is now being submitted to union members for a vote.
