Alcatel released a new tool to help enterprises assess, monitor, and troubleshoot VoIP in their networks. The Alcatel Assessment for VoIP Solution (AVISO) uses a PC-based server to generate "QoS tickets" at the end of each call to an IP phone. The tickets are logged in a detailed report.
