LeftHand Networks Raises $20 million for IP SAN Solutions

LeftHand Networks, a start-up based in Boulder, Colorado, raised $20 million in Series B financing for its IP-based SAN solutions. LeftHand's Distributed Storage Matrix includes storage virtualization and management capabilities giving customers critical storage features such as pooling, replication, hot failover and snapshot capability. The new funding was led by The Sprout Group and include existing investors Boulder Ventures, Garage Technology Ventures, Ironside Ventures, William Blair New World Ventures, Portage Venture Partners, Sequel Venture Partners, Vista Ventures, and Wasatch Ventures.
