BellSouth launched a Managed Network VPN Service over its MPLS backbone. The BellSouth suite provides an integrated Layer 2/3 native "Peer-to-Peer" IP-VPN connectivity using Private Line, Frame Relay, DSL or other access means. BellSouth said the IP-VPN offering addresses the remote access, intranet, Internet and extranet application needs of business customers.
