Bell Canada has deployed Juniper Networks E-series edge routers throughout Ontario and Quebec to support its Bell Sympatico High Speed Internet Services. The ASIC-driven E-series platforms will be used for broadband services requiring real-time quality of service, such as online games, music services, and VoIP applications across its DSL network. The equipment was supplied by Siemens Canada in partnership with Juniper Networks. Financial terms were not disclosed.

In January 2003, Lucent Technologies was awarded a multi-year contract to supply broadband access equipment in Bell Canada's networks.
