Marriott and Intel are planning a joint marketing campaign to promote the availability of wireless high-speed Internet access at 400 Marriott, Renaissance, Courtyard, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites hotels in the U.S., the U.K., Germany and Canada. Plans include advertising, direct mail and prominent signage to identify the hotspots. Intel said it is planning co-marketing agreements with various companies in preparation for the launch of its Centrino mobile technology.
