Fujitsu and Galazar Collaborate on Ethernet/SONET

Fujitsu Microelectronics America (FMA) and Galazar Networks announced a partnership aimed at developing advanced Ethernet over SONET networking components.


The first elements of this collaboration are the CompactNode and MicroNode, which were announced by Galazar in August , and were developed based on the Fujitsu Ethernet over SONET technology. Two companies will collaborate to develop next-generation networking solutions for carrier- services applications.
